Abstract

Nov. 27, 1917 Infusers.-Relates to a package for infusing tea &c., and consists in a package comprising a perforated container a of fibrous material coated with a waterproof and heat-resisting cementitious substance, such as a solution of cellulose acetate or nitrate. The tea &c. is placed in the container a, and one of the flanges b is coated with the cementitious substance and applied to the other flange while still wet. A ribbon or cord c' may be secured to the package to facilitate its manipulation and may also serve as a label. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the parts are secured by a telescopic joint.
