Abstract

1,174,962. Artificial ski slopes. J. L. A. SEE. 10 Feb., 1967 [11 Feb., 1966; 4 March, 1966], No. 6592/67. Heading A6D. In an artificial ski slope the surface of the track is formed by laying down edge to edge elements made of synthetic material, Fig. 2, comprising at least three integral cells of hexagonal plan, each cell being joined to its neighbours along two sides so that the element is formed in the approximate shape of a clover leaf and the free edges of each cell being provided with locking members to ensure that the assembled slope has no straight parting line across it. In a modification openings may be provided in outer periphery of each cell into which clips in the shape of staples are inserted to attach the elements together.
