Abstract

1,174,351. Chimneys. F. SCHIEDEL. 13 Feb., 1967 [25 June, 1966], No. 6846/67. Heading F4J. A chimney brick 1 contains a plurality of round shafts overlapping each other, such that round chamotte pipes 2 located in the shafts leave an air gap between the inner surface of said shafts and the outer surface of the pipes 2 corresponding to the gap between the pipes at the connection zone 3. A twist of rock wool 5 is wound round the inner pipes 2 and crosses over between the inner pipes.
