[Also in Division F2] In a pressure gauge protection device inserted between a line 2, connected to a pressure source, and a line 3, connected to a pressure gauge, the pressure fluid from line 2 is fed through passageways 1b and 16b in an adjustable sleeve 16, and 17d in an adjustable sleeve 17 and 17b, 1c to the line 3 and the pressure gauge and, should the fluid pressure rise or fall outside predetermined values, the width of the capsule 8 varies to move a disc 15, via rod 14, into contact with a sealing ring 20 or 21 to interrupt the fluid flow between lines 2 and 3. The position of sleeves 16, 17 can be adjusted by polygonal sections 16C, 17C. If the pressure gauge is to be protected against two pressures, other than atmosphere, a reference pressure is supplied to the exterior of the capsule 8, sleeve 16 or 17 may be omitted.
