[Also in Divisions A5, C3 and D1] Wood and wooden articles are protected from microbiocidal attack by coating with compositions comprising 1,2-dinitro-tetrachlorobenzene as the microbicidal active ingredient. The compositions may be in the form of solutions, emulsions, or paints. DDT may be incorporated in the compositions.
