1,171,393. Coating. BADISGHE ANILIN & SODA FABRIK A.G. 22 Feb., 1967 [23 Feb., 1966], No. 8431/67. Headings B2E and B2K. [Also in Divisions B5 and C3] Polyvinyl chloride films and polyethylene glycol terephthalate films are coated by means of a melt-coating machine with an adhesive consisting of (a) a styrene/n-butyl acrylate copolymer, (b) a styrene/n-butyl acrylate-methylol methacrylamide copolymer, alone or cross-linked with a reaction product of toluylene diisocyanate and a polyalcohol, or (c) a styrene/n-butyl acrylate/acrylic acid copolymer, which may be cross-linked with ZnO or MgO instead of an isocyanate. Other substrates mentioned are paper, wood, leather, metal, glass.
