1536271 Hot-melt adhesive and coating compositions SWIFT & CO Ltd 8 Dec 1975 [7 Sept 1974] 25503/74 Heading C3M Hot-melt adhesive and coating compositions having improved heat-resistance comprises (a) a softenable polymer substantially free from aliphatic unsaturation, (b) a tack resin, (c) a free radical initiator, (d) a free radical bridging agent and optionally (e) an extender. In exemplified compositions the respective components are (a) ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, (b) polyethylene, (c) various peroxide initiators, (d) methylene-bis-acrylamide and (e) paraffin wax.
