[Also in Division A3] A support band for a stocking has the fabric of the stocking substantially embedded in elastic material which may be a natural or synthetic rubber, thiopolyisoprene, polychloroprene, polychlorobutadiene, polyethylene chlorosulphone, copolyisobutene, ethylene polytetrasulphide or a polysiloxane. The coating may be effected by depositing, dipping, calendering or gun-spraying particularly electrostatic gun-spraying. The coating material may be coloured with a dye.
