[Also in Division B8] Receptacles particularly those used as urine containers consist of folded sheet material glued or welded together characterized by mutually covering layers of material defining a space between them, said layers being connected at all their edges with an inlet aperture in one of the edges and being folded to form a substantially Y-shaped cross-section two branches of which in the storage position in empty condition are swung towards each other and abut against each other, said branches being pivoted away from each other in the position of use in full condition. The filling aperture may comprise a region where the edges of the two layers are not mutually connected. At the filling aperture each of the two layers of material has an outward projecting flap that is folded into the container so as to abut against the flap of the other layer thus forming a one-way valve. A glued region of the trunk branch contains an aperture in each of the two layers which form a handle. The container is made out of a plate of sheet material that is symmetrical in relation to a central folding line, and which is stamped out from a band of sheet material thereby localising the necessary folding lines. The work piece is then folded, the symmetrical portions being caused to cover each other completely and thus form the collapsed container with two or more branches. The free edges are finally glued up to form the container.
