[Also in Divisions C2 and C5] A pesticidal composition comprises as active ingredient a compound of the general formula: in which R is C 1 -C 4 alkyl or phenyl, R' is -S-, -SO-, or -SO 2 -, X is Cl or Br, Z is O or S, each R". is C 1 -C 4 alkoxy, amino or C 1 -C 4 alkyl- or dialkylamino, m is 1 or 2 and n is from 0 to 3, the sum of m and n being from 1 to 4, and a carrier and, optionally, a surface-active dispersing agent, or comprises together with the active ingredient, an organic liquid and a propellant material. The composition may be in the form of a liquid, dust, concentrate, emulsion or spray mixture and may be incorporated in adhesives, detergents, cutting oils, paints, polymeric materials, textiles, paper and wood.
