1,167,789. Cycle saddles. RALEIGH INDUSTRIES Ltd. 14 June, 1968 [22 July, 1967], No. 33828/67. Heading B7E. A cycle saddle comprises a metal base 11 formed with a platform 11a, depending flanges 11b, V-shaped supports 11d for a top 12 and an upstanding part-cylindrical rear flange 11c, the said top consisting of a skin 12b filled with a synthetic foamed material 12c and adapted to be stuck to the base by adhesive. Depending flanges 12a of the top rest on supports 11d. The base has fitted beneath it a mounting bracket 14 covered by member 15 of V-section formed with a hand grip 15d and an aperture 15e through which the bracket extends. The base 11 rests on ribs 16.
