Abstract

Bracelets. - In an expanding bracelet, each member a of an outer link contains a single compression spring f, these springe acting in opposite directions through connecting- members c on adjacent ends of the two inner links d, which work between the members a. Each ccnnecting - member comprises a straight bar e having rightangled extremities c<2>, c', the extremity c<2> forming a bearing for one end of the spring f, and the extremity e<3> serving tosecure the connecting-member to its inner link d. As shown, the extremities c<3> engage the ends a<3> of the members a and prevent the complete compression of the springs f, hut apertures may be formed in the ends a<3> to permit the passage of the extremities c<3>. In the modification shown in Fig. 7, a member i is interposed between the two members a, and each inner link comprises two members d, m connected together by the extremity e<3> of the connecting- member.
