Abstract

116,703. Davis, C. June 15, 1917, [Convention date]. Drawer-and-shell boxes; boxes formed of separate bodies combined side by side; handles; partitioned boxes.-A packing and display box for soap tablets &c. comprises drawers 2, which slide in a sheath 1 and are connected together by a cord &c. 6 passing through holes 7 in the sheath 1. A projecting loop 8 of the cord &c. 6 serves as a handle for carrying the box, the weight of the box maintaining the drawers in their innermost positions. The drawers are adapted to be moved by means of projections 4 passing through slots 5 in the sides of the sheath 1. The central portion of the sheath between the drawers constitutes an additional receptacle accessible through an opening 9 in the sheath. The opening 9 is adapted to be closed by projections 3 on the drawers. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises a medication in which the eliding drawers are replaced by receptacles arranged to fold upon a fixed portion of the device. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
