116,463. Schmuker, A. Dec. 3, 1917. Screw propellers.-An aircraft propeller is constructed of superposed laminµ formed of pairs of halflength laminµ having segmental projections c<1> - - c<10>, d<1> - - d<10> adapted to form full-length laminµ, the meeting surfaces of superposed laminµ forming imbricated joints. The segmental projections are shaped so that a central passage e for the boss is provided when the parts are assembled. The laminµ are glued together and may be secured additionally by annular disks fitting in grooves g in the outer laminµ held in position by bolts passed through the holes i. The superposed segmental projections of the laminµ may bo shaped to form a barrelled boss and the meeting faces k may be bevelled.
