Abstract

1,164,438. Portable lavatory units. TEAL PATENTS Ltd. 20 Feb., 1967 [19 July, 1966], No. 32359/66. Headings A4N and A4V. A self-contained e.g. portable lavatory unit has a container for hot water 10, a bowl 16 for receiving a quantity of the water mounted below the container on guides to be slid below the container when not in use and slid out and supported in position when required for use and a further container 15 for used water. Preferably the bowl has a conventional plug 22 and waste outlet 21 connected to the used-water container which may be seperable from the unit for emptying. The hotwater container mounted in a framework 14 may be logged or have an immersion heater or a heat exchanger coil 11 connected to a motor vehicle engine cooling system.
