[Also in Division D2] In the examples, compositions for use in papermaking (see Division D2) comprise: (1) titanium dioxide dispersed by pebble-milling with colloidal silica, guar gum, polyethylene oxide, anionic polyamide resin and water; anionic polyvinyl acetate latex and ammonia are added and the dispersion filtered; (3) titanium dioxide, nitrile rubber latex, anionic polyamide resin and guar gum; (9) B-stage phenolic resin powder dispersed with the aid of guar gum and polyethylene oxide.
