Abstract

1,161,563. Pulse discriminator circuits. JUNKERS FLUGZEUGUND MOTORENWERKE A.G. 21 Oct., 1966 [3 Dec., 1965], No. 47390/66. Heading H3T. A switching circuit comprises a pair of complementary transistor T1, T2 with their emitters connected across a constant current source 4 and their collectors connected to one electrode of a capacitor C. If S 0 is opened by a gating signal, capacitor C will charge in one sense through transistor T 1 when switch S 1 is open, and in the other sense through transistor T 2 when switch S 2 is open. The resultant charge on the capacitor C will depend on the relative duration of the time that S 1 and S 2 are open. The switches may be transistors. In a modification, Figs. 2, 3 (not shown), the switches S 1 , S 2 are omitted and a push-pull signal is applied between points 2, 3. The charge on the capacitor then depends on the integral of the signal, during the time S 0 is open.
