Abstract

1,160,976. Ferrites. NIPPON ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 4 July, 1966, No. 30031/66. Heading C1A. [Also in Divisions C2 and H1] Ferrites are prepared from oxalates of iron and bivalent zinc, manganese, nickel or cobalt (see Division C2) by heating in the presence of oxygen. A spinel-type ferrite of grain size dependent upon the temperature and amount of oxygen, is produced. Alloy particles with oxides may be present if a reducing atmosphere is used, or if manganese is present on further heating, e.g. up to 600‹ C.
