Abstract

1,158,908. Two-part couplings. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. 21 Oct., 1966 [16 Dec., 1965], No. 53391/65. Heading H2E. [Also in Division H1] Fixed contacts mounted in an insulating block 18 each have a resilient portion 19 engaging an exposed conductor of a flexible printed circuit 14 and each is secured in the block by a rivet 21 providing a contact surface 22, said surfaces 22 being variably interconnected by contacts 24 mounted in an insulating rotor 23. Each circuit 14 is placed over a projection 12 on an insulating base 11, and an insulating annulus 15 has slots (16, Fig. 2) engaging ribs (17, Fig. 2) on the projections to hold the circuits in position.
