Abstract
1,157,867. Dyeing acrylic fibres. YORKSHIRE DYEWARE & CHEMICAL CO. 9 April, 1968 [20 April, 1967], No. 18130/67. Addition to 1,047,293. Heading D1B. Acrylic fibres are dyed with dyes of general formula I: in which R is a substituted aryl radical or substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic radical other than a 4-nitro-2-chlcirophenyl, 4- nitro-2, 6-di-chlorophenyl, 4-nitro-2-methylsulphenyl-pHenyl, 5-nitrothiazole, or 5-methylsulphenylthiazole radical, R<SP>1</SP> is hydrogen or an alkyl radical, R<SP>11</SP> is hydrogen or a methyl radical x is an anion of a strong mineral acid, blue red yellow shades are obtained.
