115,777. Fairclough, W. Dec. 19, 1917. Hoops. - Hoops for casks and barrels are formed with pointed inwardly - bent tongues 3 which are inclined towards the ends of the cask &c. and prevent slipping of the hoops. After the hoops have been pressed on the casks &c., the tongues 3 may be driven into the wood by means of a punch.
