Abstract

1,156,990. Column shuttering; clamps. C. I. WILLIAMS. 30 Nov., 1966 [9 Dec., 1965], No. 53696/66. Headings E1S and E2B. Shuttering for casting rectangular columns has adjustable clamps comprising bars 17, 18 which are connected in pairs by screws 21, the pairs engaging one another by teeth 25. The screws engage each bar by threads of opposite hand. The bars may be nailed to the shuttering through holes 33-36. The screws have detachable heads located on the threaded shaft by pins.
