Abstract

115,607. Scully, J. Jan. 14, 1918. Preparing flour from special materials. - The potatoes are washed and peeled and then comminuted by grating or crushing. The comminuted product is placed in a sieve or strainer over a receptacle in which the liquid and fine particles are collected. The liquid is separated from the fine particles which are then dried to form a fine grade of flour. The coarser particles remaining on the strainer are similarly dried and form a coarse grade of flour. The liquid portion separated may be used for. any suitable purpose.
