Abstract
1,155,680. Capacitors. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. 30 May, 1968 [31 May, 1967], No. 25900/68. Addition to 882,815. Heading H1M. A self-healing metallized paper capacitor is impregnated with a mixture of polyisobutylene and esters of sebacic and/or phthalic acid in which the alcohol residue is aliphatic with 10 to 14 carbon atoms, e.g. di-isooctyl phthalate. The impregnant may include up to 5% by weight of aromatic hydrocarbon, e.g. α-methylnaphthalene.
