Abstract
1,154,870. N - Trifluoromethyl - sulphenamido benzoic acid amides. FARBENFABRIKEN BAYER A.G. 15 Sept., 1967 [15 Sept., 1966], No. 42207/67. Heading C2C. Novel compounds of formula where R 1 is trihalomethyl; R 2 is H, C 1-4 alkyl or C 1-4 alkenyl; R 3 is H, C 1-12 alkyl, C 2-4 alkenyl, cyclo-alkyl, aryl, aryl substituted by C 1-4 alkyl, C 1-4 alkoxy, halogen or nitro; or R 2 and R 3 , together with their adjacent N atom, form a 5- or 6-membered ring which may be interrupted by one or more additional hetero atoms; R 4 is H, one or more halogen atoms, C 1-4 alkyl, C 1-4 alkoxy or NO 2 ; are prepared by reacting a compound of formula with an amine in the presence of an acid-binding agent. Antimycotic pharmaceutical compositions comprise at least one of the above novel compounds together with an inert diluent or carrier.
