A process for making a box comprises the steps of moulding a frame F of synthetic plastics material with an integral hinge connecting it to a lid frame L, and thereafter securing one or more panels BP, LP of card, plastics &c. to complete the box. The panels BP, LP may bear printing and be secured by glue.
