Abstract

1,154,351. Lamp-holders. EASTMAN KODAK CO. 12 May, 1966 [12 July, 1965], No. 21018/66. Heading H2E. [Also in Division G2] A photoflash socket 10 for detachably retaining a multi-lamp package having a connecting base 30 with retaining lugs 32, is made in one piece and has a hollow body portion 12 and integral retaining fingers 17 which engage with the lugs 32 of an inserted package. As the package is inserted, the lugs move the fingers outwards until the package is fully seated, when the fingers spring back to the position shown. The package is removed by pushing a post 31 of it with an ejector pin, or by pulling the package out.
