Abstract

1,154,261. Transformers. H. MAIHAK A.G. 28 Sept., 1967 [1 Dec., 1966], No. 44140/67. Heading H1T. Electric power is inductively transmitted to an electrical device e.g. a torque measuring device secured to a rotatable or oscillatable shaft by applying low-frequency alternating voltage across primary coil 2 or core 1, which induces a voltage in secondary coil 3, fixed to the shaft by clip 4 and clamp 5, and able to rotate freely in the air gap in core 1. Terminals on coil 3 feed the induced voltage to the electrical device.
