A light-sensitive, colour photographic material comprises a support carrying a silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler of the mono-pyrazolone type and a bis pyrazolone of the general formula: - wherein R is alkyl, or aryl and R<SP>1</SP> is H, alkyl, aryl, or heterocyclyl at least one or R and R<SP>1</SP> containing an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having 12 to 20 carbon atoms to prevent colour stain. Specified mono-pyrazolones are 1-(3-α-sulfostearoylamide-phenyl)-3-phenyl-5-pyrazolone, 1-(4-sulfophenyl)-3-tetradecylaniino-5-pyrazolone, 1 - (3-carboxy-phenyl)-3-(4-palmitoylamido phenylamido)-5-pyrazolone, 1-(4-phenoxy-3- sulfophenyl)-3-hystadecyl-5-pyrazoline, 1- phenyl-3-(3-α-sulfopalmitoyl-amido-benzamido)- 5-pyrazolone, 1-(4-carboxy-phenyl)-3-(4-#- octadecyl succinmono amido-phenyl)-5-pyrazolone 1-(4-sulfo-phenyl)-2-stearoylamido-5-pyrazolone, 1-(6-sulfo-benzothiazolyl-(2))-3-heptadecyl-5- pyrazolone and 1 -hystadecyl-3-(4-carboxylphenyl) -5-pyrazolone.
