Abstract

1,152,488. Transistor amplifying circuits. BROOKDEAL ELECTRONICS Ltd. 7 Aug., 1967 [20 June, 1966], No. 27426/66. Heading H3T. A frequency selective electronic circuit arrangement comprises a plurality of stages of amplification coupled in sequence in a closed loop, two stages Q 1 , Q 3 having integrating functions and another stage Q 2 having a phase-reversal function, wherein the integrating stages comprise transistors of the same type and the phase-reversal stage comprises a transistor of type complementary thereto. Stages Q 1 , Q 3 are each provided with feedback from output to input via a capacitor C 1 , C 2 respectively, and overall feedback is provided via a resistor R 1 ; as shown, the third stage is followed by an output stage comprising an emitter-follower Q 4 . In a modification (Fig. 2, not shown) each of the first and third stages comprises a pair of like transistors with their collectors connected together, the input being applied to the base of the first transistor in the pair, which has its emitter connected to the base of the second transistor and to earth via a resistor; the emitter of each second transistor is earthed. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 781,374.
