A metal lattice pylon comprises sheet steel uprights 1 of rounded channel section, and inclined braces 3 of inverted channel section which are bolted, riveted or secured to the uprights, and which are preferably formed from strips cut out of the uprights to form vertically extending central apertures 5 in the uprights.
