In a recoil-free rocket discharger the projectile is provided with a rear Laval nozzle which separates from the projectile upon firing and is then ejected from the discharger. The fastening between the nozzle and projectile is broken by the initial explosion and the ejection is effected by a manually operated lever on the discharger.
