A pan support structure for a gas cooker hot-plate comprises a sheet metal pressing 10 which incorporates two shallow troughs 12, 13 separated by a hollow rib 14, which troughs have a continuous imperforate base or floor, and a burner or burners 18 supported within the troughs by bars 15 extending over the trough, the single burner within the trough 13 being supplied with gas from an injector 20 housed in the rib 14, the double burner within the trough 12 being supplied from both the injector 20 and an injector 21 located between the outer wall of the trough 12 and a flange 11. The structure is completed by pan supporting grids (22, 23, Fig. 1) resting on the surface of the pressing on opposite sides of the troughs and located by pegs on the grids entering holes in the pressing.
