A truck for warp beams comprises a pair of supports each of which comprises a wheeled structure with an extending arm 6 provided with a screw-operated lifting gear 9, 11 to engage the beam 20. The uprights 1 are removably connected together by a cross-tube 17 and may also be provided with arms 21 to support heald frames.
