Abstract

1,147,620. Hoists. ELEKTROTELFEREN ZAVOD. 21 Feb., 1967, No. 8096/67. Heading B8B. [Also in Division H2] An electric rope hoist 1 has a drum 2 mounted coaxially with a two-speed induction motor 5 and the latter has two stator windings of different pole number, the higher pole number winding having the number of slots per pole per phase not greater than unity. A reduction gear 3 and clutch 4 couple the motor to the drum. A casing 10 and end plate 11 seal the motor and render it explosion proof.
