Novel compounds of the general formula X.NH.CO.NH.SO 2 Y wherein X signifies a 2 - hydroxycyclohexyl or 2-hydroxycyclopentyl group which has been acylated at the hydroxy group with a sulphonyl carbamic acid, Y.SO 2 NH.CO 2 H, wherein Y represents a phenyl group which may be substituted by one or more amino, halo, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, acyl, acylamino, diacylamido, alkoxy-substituted benzamido-ethyl, halo-substituted benzamido-ethyl and/or alkoxy-halo-substituted benzamidoethyl or Y represents a nitrogenlinked 5- or 6-membered nitrogen containing heterocycle, are obtained by reacting a sulphonyl carbamic acid derivative or a sulphonyl isocyanate with a 2-amino-cyclohexanol or 2-amino-cyclopentanol.
