The half mould B has bolts E held down in lugs F by springs I which are always under compression. The heads D of the bolts on one side carry the hinge pins C, while those on the other carry clamping toggle levers M, N, the latter adapted to engage are. cess P in the upper mould part A. The mould is provided with the usual bottom plate and pouring block.
