Abstract

1,146,299. Reclaiming and blending material from stock piles. STRACHAN & HENSHAW Ltd. 17 June, 1966, No. 27216/66. Heading B8E. Reclaiming apparatus comprising a bridge 20 running on rails 29, 30 lengthwise of the pile has a carriage 31 reciprocable transversely thereon and mounting material handling units 13-17. The units 13-17 may each have a bucket wheel and associated conveyers and may be attached in a readily releasable manner such as by bolts or pins in bores 33 so that the number and spacing of the units may be readily varied to give different blendings of the reclaimed material. An adjustable inclination rake may scrape the material from the face of the pile towards the units.
