Abstract

A valve, e.g. a ball valve, is steam or hot fluid traced by a sinuous pattern of tubes extending around the body of the valve in two or more separate assemblies. Steam enters at 23 and splits to tube banks 20 each extending at one side and half the top and bottom of the valve body, before passing through outlets 22. The tubes are arranged to be self-draining.
