A feed bowl for poultry comprises a pot shaped or pan-shaped vessel 1, a cowl-like feed distribution duct 5 which leads into the vessel, and a double ring 10 which is liftable, lowerable, and rotatable on the duct 5 for variations of the height of the rim. The double ring 10 comprises an outer ring 11 connected by radial webs 12 to an inner ring 13, and the inner ring 13 has an inclined slot 16 with with an upper serrated edge. A peg 18 is fastened on the outer cylindrical side 14 of the duct 5 said peg being able to engage a tooth of the slot 16 to immobilise the double ring in the vertical position selected.
