1,140,571. Line time base circuit; automatic phase control. LOEWE OPTA A.G. 28 Jan., 1966 [29 Jan., 1965], No. 3920/66. Heading H3A. A transistorized line time base circuit comprises sync. separator stages T1, T2, phase comparator stage V, impedance transformer stage T3 and a blocking oscillator stage T4 directly coupled to power output stage T5. Retro-active effects on the blocking oscillator stage due to its direct coupling to the output stage are reduced by capacitor C1 connected between the oscillator base and earth and feedback of the blocking oscillator signal to the emitter circuit of the stage T3 is neutralized by the signal induced in winding E of transformer TR2. Shunting of the phase comparator stage by the impedance of the impedance transformer stage is reduced by resistor R10 and the phase comparator stage is balanced by variable resistor R1.
