1,140,540. Compositions containing pyridylalkylamines. UNIMED, Inc. 3 Aug., 1966 [9 Sept., 1965], No. 34822/66. Addition to 945,095. Heading A5B. Pharmaceutical compositions for treating senility or impaired microcirculation consist of an oral or injectable dosage form comprising from over 4 mgs. to 45 mgs. of a # - (2 - or 4- pyridyl) - C 2 - C 5 alkylamine or dialkylamine or tolerable acid addition salt thereof, with a pharmaceutical carrier other than water alone. The preferred active agents are # - (2 - pyridyl) - ethyl methylamine and # - (4 - pyridyl) - ethyl methylamino propane; the acid addition salts may be hydrochloride, tartrate, fumarate or gluconate.
