Abstract

A modification of the roller described in the parent Specification consists of forming the inner portion from alternate layers (1-4) and (5-7) of glass rovings and unidirectional glass fabric respectively, the fabric being impregnated with the thermosetting material held in the rovings. The rovings are disposed slightly helically, while the fabric consists of longitudinal rovings (9) held together by transverse threads (12). The wall thickness may vary throughout the length of the roller.
