Abstract

In a method of erecting on a base a reinforced concrete building comprising a group of cells separated by partition walls, vertical internal and external shuttering C1, C2 defining the inner surface of each cell and the outer surface of the group of cells over the height of one storey are first disposed on the base, the walls are then cast together with a floor on the box inside each cell whereupon the internal shuttering C1 is disconnected and raised the height of one storey together with the associated floors - the floors being secured to the walls and the external shuttering C2 likewise raised by the height of one storey. The shuttering C1 is interconnected by corner attachments B, see Fig. 2 (not shown) which seat against uprights A connected by transverse ties M to uprights A2 for the outer shuttering. Movement of the internal shuttering away from its associated wall serves to secure it to the floor for lifting purposes for details of which and minor modifications, the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown), should be referred to.
