Abstract

1,137,096. Glass melting furnace walls. GLASS TUBES & COMPONENTS Ltd. 14 July, 1967 [18 April, 1966], No. 16929/66. Heading F4B. In a glass melting furnace as disclosed in Specification 1,137,095, the tank blocks and electrode(s) are alternatively made either of SnO 2 with an addition of 0.5% copper oxide or 1À0% Sb 2 O 3 or of Mo or W metal or sintered zirconia with the addition of an oxide of Ca, Mg, Ce or Yt. The other details are as in the aforementioned Specification.
