A debris collecting device for use in chiropody comprises a flexible receiver 1 of washable or disposable material e.g. linen or paper, depending from a wire frame 2 in a support plate 3 which is attached to the leg rest of a chiropody chair by resilient clips (7), Fig. 1 (not shown), or by magnetic means. The frame may be detachable at one end from the support so that the receiver 1 having a hem around the edge may be threaded on to it.
