[Also in Division A5] Novel thiophosphoric esters of the formula wherein R is an alkyl group containing up to 4 carbon atoms and n is 1 or 2 are obtained by reacting a compound (RO) 2 P(O)SM in which M is an alkali metal or an ammonium group with a compound of the formula The reaction is preferably effected at from 20‹ to 100‹ C. expediently in an inert organic solvent, e.g. acetonitrile. The products have pesticidal properties.
