Abstract

1,129,842. Liquid level induction. MULLARD Ltd. Sept.28, 1967 [June 29, 1966], No.29122/66. Heading G1H In a method of indicating when an electrically conductive liquid reaches a predetermined level, an oscillatory circuit 1, connected through a detector circuit 2 to a switching arrangement 3, is shortcircuited when the liquid reaches the pre-determined level thus reducing the impedance of a coil 11 and monitoring the oscillations to detect when such oscillations stop and when the level is reached by the liquid. The oscillations may be monitored by a diode detector circuit which may be connected to a switching arrangement comprising a switching transistor and relay coil or replaced by thyristor or triac triggering device.
