Abstract

112,911. Taylor, T. Oct. 1, 1917. Insulators.-Leading-in insulators for telephone &c. wires of the type described in Specification 2959/07 are provided with a plain disk cap k for closing the cavity containing the sealing and insulating medium. The cap may have a downwardly projecting part or parts adapted to enter the insulating medium and to be held thereby. In a modified construction, the cap is formed with flanges engaging over the sides of the insulator, or a recess is formed in its under surface to receive the sealing-medium.
