An extractor for the continuous extraction of solid materials with solvents comprises a rotor divided into sections by radially extending walls rotatable about a vertical shaft, a fixed perforated bottom provided with an outlet aperture for the leached material with the rotor arranged and rotatable at a slight distance above the perforated bottom, the bottom being perforated by slots arranged concentrically. The slots may widen out conically downwards, and brushes may be secured to the bottom of the radially extending walls of the rotor.
